Description: Just like a television sitcom, the camera in Lucy Makes It Big misses the dialogue and the canned laughter covers up the mistakes. But when the laughter dies down, you have a basic run-of-the-mill sexvid with a great sex scene between Blondi and Tony Montana. So what else is new? They always have hot sex. Lucy Has A Ball was unique and that video maintained itself because of that. But this sequel runs dry quickly, as it suffers from bad acting and inconsistency. They just don't take enough time to make these things anymore and when they try something creative like this, the lack of time shows. For story, Ricky (Tony Montana) has gotten a guest shot on the Ted Sullivan show and what elseLucy and Bethel want to be on the show. Ricky says "no way," and the girls plot their way onto the showusing sexual means, of course. A four-way sex scene answers the age-old question that yuppies often ask, "Who's got the bigger dong, Ricky or Fred?" but the sex is really standard save for Blondi's two scenes (the other is a lesbo match-up). And when editing in the laugh-track, somebody missed some of the good jokes and put a heavy laugh-track on when it wasn't necessary. All in all, Lucy Makes It Big has bigger aspirations than it can handle, making for an average video with beautiful, busty Blondi making it watchable.

Description: Adultery surprises on a couple of levels - the main one being the unusual use of porn cliches by screenwriter Michael Ellis, who's usually among the best. That director Spinelli rises above the material is not surprising; when Cheri Taylor rejects Marc Wallice and he retorts "you know you want it," the sex scene is so good that you forget the cliche. Wallice plays best friend to medical student Scott Irish, home for a holiday. After pontificating on his lust for Irish's mother (Ona Zee), he gets his buddy laid with Sharon Kane. But Wallice torments Zee and his lust turns to reality, just before huggy Mike Horner walks in. Penance for this stint with a prostitute (Nina Hartley), maybe? The sex scenes range from lukewarm to lusty, but Mark Wallice turns in a career performance as the slightly bent friend. Everyone else acts well and Spinelli's fluid use of the camera, a trademark is in evidence. A nice shot of the busty Cheri Taylor graces the box cover, so retailers should take note. Not one of Spinelli's best, but better than the industry norm.

The second one - a beautiful plump bonde - pops in as a camper drawn to his house by a storm. The third one introduces herself as Eva Monnier, a photographer friend of Beryl's. All three girls act out the man's fantasies (as told by his off-screen voice) until he dies in his stairway as they are masturbating in front of him. Meanwhile, as Frank shows too little interest in her, Beryl decides she will take her revenge on him (yet Diane Dubois' scene where she's dressed in black leather is her best to me). After her husband's death, Beryl learns that she won't inherit from him as he was still married to his first wife, Chantal (unfortunately unseen in the film!) and that they had had a son called Frank. Her very Frank who, now that he has come into his father's money, walks out on her. Obviously he had been planning this from the beginning of his affair with her. Beryl gets a gun and shoots him.
